Sweet Li'l One - Baby Cards

Every once in a while I make these really cute baby cards that just surprise me. Even my gals last weekend had fun creating these in class. The layout is so versatile and with a quick swap of sentiments and Designer Series Paper can easily be changed into a totally different card.

This Sweet Li'l One stamp set is also retiring and coordinating Sweet Li'l DSP already sold out. I am bummed that many punches are retiring as well, like the oval and scallop circle punches that I used on these cards.

Well, that is all I have today. I must try to keep with my list of tasks during this Memorial Day weekend. We'll see.

Zoo Babies

I admit, I don't make baby cards often. It's probably because I don't know very many people that are having babies anymore. Most of my friends have older kids or have grandkids. However, whenever I get a chance to make them, I really enjoy it. This card was a good way to use my scraps of card stocks by punching out the different sizes of circles, gluing them on to the white just randomly and then running it on the Big Shot sandwiched in between the Tiny Triangles Embossing Folder. Tada! It's so easy and super cute.

Baby Prints

I has been a long time since I made and shared Baby cards, so here they are. They are both fairly easy and simple to make. Gotta love those kind of cards! I've had this stamp set for about a year now, but this was the first time I used them. I really like the details of the stamped hand and foot prints. That's about it for today. I need to get started with the Halloween treats/goodies for my daughter's class. I remember when I used to make 20 treats for 20 students for my son's class. There are 34 kids in my daughter's 6th grade class this year, which means I have to start early. This might be the last time I will get to do this, because she will be in Junior High/Middle School next year. Fox & Friends

I have not created a Baby card in quite sometime, so I thought that for this week's post I would share a card that I made for my co-worker's wife who just had a baby girl. The stamp set I used here, Fox & Friends will be retiring end of this month, so I decided that this is a nice way to say farewell. It is such a versatile set and can be used for baby shower invitations, kids birthdays, thank you cards and lots more. The sizes of the stamped images are also perfect with Stampin' Up! punches. TGIF

To say it was a busy and stressful week is an understatement. Thank goodness, it's Friday. I just want to write a quick and short post today by sharing this cute baby card I made for my friend in Arizona who just had a baby girl. My camera's been acting-up lately. I took three shots and they all seem to be blurry. So, this will have to do.

It was a very simple card and didn't take much time to put together at all. Thanks to that really cute Nursery Nest DSP (122347), Pretty in Pink (100459) and Certainly Celery card stocks (105125).

This weekend is packed for me. My baby sister and her family are finally coming back home from the Philippines. I am so excited to have family nearby. See you soon!
