Lots of Love

I had a pretty good weekend considering I was too dizzy to even get-up yesterday. I didn't do much but allowed myself to have some peace and quiet which really helped me obtain some clarity. Sometimes, I just had to sit myself down no matter how many things are going on around me and write down my emotions. So there, I am optimistic that this week will be much better and if not...well, what can I do? I cannot control most things. Actually, the only thing I can is how I react to things. And admittedly, I have not been doing a great job at that. I have been allowing "stuff" to get the best of me when I know better.

I am sharing another fun fold card with you today called Four Fold card. I had so much fun putting together this project inspired by the many ideas I got from Pinterest. It looked complicated but it was actually pretty easy. The Whole Lot of Lovely Suite together with the designer series paper and Lots of Love stamp set made this project so adorable. I am so in-love this this paper. It's definitely a "must hoard" item. The stamp set is also versatile and can be used for Valentine's Day cards or any time you want to send love to someone. Although, one will have to be pretty special to get this card from me. Haha.

The sentiments were heat embossed with black embossing powder and black craft ink pad
Due to the thickness of this card, I used the Envelope Punch Board to customize the envelopes
Happy Monday, everyone. The list of things used to create this card is below.

Lemon Zest

Happy Friday! I so needed this weekend five days ago. I've been feeling kind of in the dumps. I don't know why I allow others to rain on my parade or why I take things too seriously. It's just a job...it's not who I am, right? It's a means to an end - it's what I do to be able to do the things I love to do. These sentences have been my mantra the past year or so every morning before I go to work. It's been a rough and challenging sixteen months and sadly, I don't see even a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel. Oh well. But it IS Friday and I look forward to a weekend of card making therapy. Thank goodness, I have this and my family. I will follow the sentiment on this card and drink some tequila with my limes. Haha.

Today I want to share a fun fold card that we made in class last week called Joy Fold card created with the adorable Lemon Zest bundle. This set is so versatile and an absolute must have.

It's hard to see from the photo but I used Wink of Stella Clear to accentuate the edges of the limes.
The sentiment on this one is not Stampin' Up! Sorry, it is from Unity Stamps.
Well, that's all for today, folks. Thank you for stopping by. Happy weekend! The list of products used to create this card is below.

Merry Christmas, everyone! We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at my mom's last night. Lots of great food: lechon (Filipino ham), pa...
