Swallowtail

I am truly sorry for being such a delinquent blogger lately. I have been so busy at work that when I get home the last thing I want to do is sit in front of the computer. I could tell that I am still recuperating from my illness. It is evident that I am not 100% well yet, because I still feel very exhausted. Life goes on, though and work definitely does not even slow down no matter how I feel. "Work to live, not live to work", I kept reminding myself.

Well, it has been scorching hot here in northern California the past week. I spent my weekend indoors with the AC and fans on and worked on my swaps for the upcoming convention. I want to share with you a card I made to swap using this very nice Swallowtail stamp. It was simple and easy to make, but not when one had to make fifty of the same cards.

Card Recipe

Stamp set(s): Swallowtail (W 131943 C 129216), Trust God (W132094 C 126702), Papillon Potpourri (W 132058 C 123759)
Paper: Card stocks in Whisper White and Marina Mist
Ink: Classic stampin' pad in Marina Mist
Accessories & tools: Punches in Decorative Label (120907), Extra Large Oval (119859) and Bitty Butterfly (129406), Rhinestones Basic Jewels (119246), 5/8" Organza ribbon in Whisper White (114319), Sponge Daubers (102892), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

Well, that's all for now. Thank you for stopping by. Have a good week, everyone!
