Bright Wishes

One of the very first stamp sets I purchased from the brand new catalog is Bright Wishes. I love how this card turned out. This well image reminded me of the one we had when I was a little girl in the Philippines. Except that was not a wishing one, it was just a well with a water pump next to it. Haha.

I colored this after quite a challenging day in the office and immediately felt a lot better. What a gift it is to be able to do this as my therapy.  I love my matter how hectic it gets. Smile

Thank you for stopping by and happy weekend, everyone! It's been very warm here in Northern California and will be even hotter this weekend. Summer is upon us.

Pun Intended

Happy Friday, everyone! I CASED this card from the many pins on Pinterest - just added my own twist to it. I am in love with this stamp set called Pun Intended and it's a shame because it's one of those stamps sets, too that I didn't get to play with as much as I should have. This is exclusive to hosts and also will be retiring end of this month. It's a definite keeper. Don't you just love Wisteria Wonder, Basic Black and Pink Pirouette? The tiny heart (retired) punched out using the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper was something I just added after I'd put the card together. It needed something more and it worked. Sometimes, it just does. Smile. I didn't expect it would turn out so cute.

I stamped the camera image twice, fussy cut out the flash and punched the lens using 1/2 circle punch, then adhered with stampin' dimensionals.
Well, that's all for now, folks. Thank you for stopping by. The list of products used to create this card is below. Have a good weekend!

From Land to Sea

It's almost Friday! Father's Day is coming up so I want to share this masculine card created with another soon-to-be retired stamp set called, From Land to Sea. It's one of those stamp sets I wish I made an effort to play with a little bit more. I love lighthouses so I know I'm keeping them. It just feels like a waste when stamp sets only get used a couple of times, you know.

I often find it challenging to design masculine cards, and when I do I try to make more of them. Less than two weeks left before the brand new Stampin' Up! catalog goes public. I have received mine and my wish list is very long. I want so many things from this catalog. I will really need to hustle with my classes and events in order to justify my orders. Oh well, who needs food, right?
The waves on the background is an image from Work of Art stamp set

I stamped the lighthouse image twice, fussy cut it and adhered on top of the main one using dimensional adhesives.
Well, that's all I have for now. Thank you for stopping by! list of products used to create this card is below. Time's running out to order soon to be retired products from Stampin' Up! If there's something you want, get it now or you might end up paying a lot more on auction sites.
