Thankful Forest Friends

Thank you to all the brave Veterans for their service in keeping us all safe and fighting to keep our freedom. I am also very grateful for this mid-week holiday when I can stay in my pajamas all day and take it easy. What a special treat! I will try to ignore that gnawing reminder that come tomorrow I have to be back to work. Smile.

Today, I want to share a card that is very appropriate with giving thanks to Veterans and Thanksgiving month. I adore this stamp set called Thankful Forest Friends from the Holiday Catalog. The animal images are so cute, plus the coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP) is a total "must hoard" item. Haha!

Every Blessing

Surprisingly, I had to turn on the heat in my car for the first time this season yesterday. Colder weather is finally here. Yay! It was raining and it took every ounce of my courage not to call-in sick for work. As soon as I got up and heard the rain, all I wanted to do was go back to bed. If you are one of very few people who knew me, you'd know this does not happen often. Oh well, after a few minutes of arguing with myself, I got ready and went to work. It would have been a different story if my daughter didn't need to be driven to school. Sigh

Anyway, I want to share a pretty simple Christmas card with you that we created in class a few months ago. The photo does not do it justice. It's really very beautiful in person and to think I only used very few products. I just love monochromatic stuff. The simplicity of its color scheme delivers more punch sometimes than colorful cards.

Oh well, this is going to be a very quick post. Happy Tuesday, everyone and thanks for stopping by.
